SNG & Partners elevates Sanjay Gupta to Managing Partner and Amit Aggarwal to Senior Partner
SNG & Partners has announced the promotion of Sanjay Gupta to Managing Partner- Dispute Resolution Practice and Amit Aggarwal to Senior Partner at the Firm.
Sanjay has extensive experience of over 30 years at the bar as a litigator and renowned for his litigation strategy and court craft. He regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India as also various High Courts across the country.
Sanjay represents clients before various Tribunals and Appellate Tribunals constituted under various Statutes. He is also an avid ADR practitioner and has been representing clients in domestic as well as international arbitrations. His core areas of practice are commercial and contractual laws, laws relating to economic offences, industrial laws, personal laws and succession laws. Gupta has a avoid background in presenting clients before Tribunals and Appellate Tribunals for domestic as well as international matters.
Amit has been associated with SNG & Partners since 2001 and heads the firm's Corporate & Banking practice. His areas of specialization include Banking, Financial Services, Capital Markets (both debt and equity segment), Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Private Equity transactions.
He specializes in complex banking transactions such as, hybrid debt transactions, project finance, and structured trade finance and regularly advises alternative investment funds on their investments in Indian securities. His expertise also includes advising family offices on their entry, investment and exit strategies in various sectors in India.
Amit is a graduate from the Faculty of Law, Delhi University and also a qualified Company Secretary.
