Unity appoints SVP, General Counsel, Anirma Gupta
She formerly served as Carbon's Chief Legal Officer
Anirma Gupta has been appointed Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Unity, the top platform for developing and utilising real-time 3D (RT3D) content. In her role as General Counsel for Unity, Gupta will oversee the company's legal department globally and directly report to CEO John Riccitiello.
According to John Riccitiello, CEO of Unity, "Anirma's broad experience and proven track record in global compliance with revolutionary enterprises make her a natural fit for Unity." "As we continue to grow and expand in games and beyond, we look forward to her advice."
Anirma brings to Unity several years of experience managing legal groups. While at Carbon, she provided business strategy advice to Carbon's management team and board of directors as well as guidance on managing worldwide compliance and various legal matters unique to growth-stage businesses. Prior to Carbon, Anirma was General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary at Tanium Inc. She has also served as Intuit's Deputy General Counsel.
