AZB & Partners' private equity specialist Sayak Maity joins the US law firm
Private equity (PE) funds and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) specialist Sayak Maity has joined the US law firm White & Case as a partner in Singapore. He was working with AZB & Partners, assisting PE funds on investments in India and the Asia-Pacific region. He also advised on joint ventures and corporate governance.
Prior to that, Maity worked in an in-house role at Tata Sons. He also had a stint with the law firm Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.
White & Case currently has 13 partners, including Maity, in its Singapore office.
