Linklaters' relocates Lev Loukhton to New York to boost M&A and Private Equity capabilities
Lev Loukhton, Linklaters M&A and private equity partner has relocated to the firm's New York office. The transfer is made to mark the constant development of the New York office's global M&A and private equity capabilities.
Lev possesses an extensive cross-border transactional experience of more than two decades. It represents domestic and multinational companies in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures and general corporate issues as well. He acts for various sectors of companies and financial sponsors. It includes technology, media and telecoms (TMT), financial institutions, industrials and chemicals.
On the move, Lev expressed his happiness to return to the dynamic and growing office of New York. He looks ahead to work with his new clients out of his new base in New York and help them to attain their strategic aims.
"We are elated to have Lev in the New York office. His significant expertise will strengthen our corporate offering in the Americas by advising on high-stakes, compound deals in New York and internationally," mentioned Thomas McGrath, U.S. Global Practice Head & Antitrust Partner.
"Lev has been contributory in developing our practice in Europe. We are very excited that he has moved to the U.S. to improve our growing corporate practice," asserted Simon Branigan, Global Head of Corporate based in London.
Prior to this shift, Lev served as the firm's marketing and business development partner in Europe. He has also chaired the community investment committee, leading an array of ESG initiatives. In connection with assigned exits and withdrawals from Russia, he has of late counselled several international clients and represents leading international financial institutions and investors on regular basis.
