Verizon Communications has promoted Craig Silliman as the president of global services

Craig Silliman has been promoted as the president of global services, including real estate, supply chain, finance, technology, security and public policy for Verizon Communications Inc. Silliman was previously the general counsel of the company.

Silliman has been with Verizon for 11-year veteran and has held several posts at the company which last year had revenues of $133.6 billion.

Deputy counsel Vandana Venkatesh will replace Silliman as legal chief.
