Protecting Brand Integrity: SKF's Trademark Victory

Protecting Brand Integrity: SKF's Trademark Victory
Delhi High Court grants interim relief to SKF in trademark infringement case against multiple defendants.
The Delhi High Court grants interim relief to SKF in a trademark infringement case against M/s Osaka International Inc. and others. The court restrained defendants No. 14 to 16 from using the mark 'SKF' and SKF trade dress, and directed them to take down and remove all posts and listings bearing the mark.
The case was filed by SKF alleging trademark infringement and passing off against the defendants, who were using the mark 'SKF' and SKF trade dress without permission. The court found that the plaintiffs had made out a prima facie case in their favor and against the newly impleaded defendants, and that balance of convenience was also in favor of the plaintiffs.
The court's decision emphasizes the importance of protecting intellectual property rights and preventing trademark infringement.
In this case the plaintiff was represented by team Anand & Anand led by Mr. Saif Khan, Mr. Shobhit Agrawal, Mr. Prajjwal Kushwaha and Ms. Meghana Kudligi, Advocates.
