Jyoti A Singh is the founder of AJA Legal and Associates. Having worked in distressed space over two decades, Jyoti has advised and represented some of the largest banks and financial institutions, insolvency professionals and large corporate houses. Jyoti has advised and acted for multinational companies on the issues of corporate fraud and other economic offences. She has notable corporate advisory and dispute resolution experience.

Being involved in insolvency space since its nascent stage, Jyoti has co-authored a book on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 “Concepts and Procedure” published by Bloomsbury publication.

Jyoti has been recognized by Chambers and Partners in ‘Dispute Resolution: Insolvency’ and ‘Dispute Resolution- Mumbai based’ since 2015. Chambers Asia Pacific Guide, 2020 quoted that the Interviewees label Jyoti as a “leader in the insolvency space,” noting that she performs “phenomenally well.” She has been consistently ranked as "Distinguished Practitioner" in "Restructuring and Insolvency" by Asia Law since 2019. She has been recognized as “Dispute Resolution Star Insolvency 2021” by Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific. She was recognized as “one of the Top 100 Women in Litigation by Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific 2020”. Jyoti was awarded “Young Achievers Award of the year in the Law Firm category” for the year 2016-17 by Legal Era.
