Rajvinder Singh Bains (Raj) is a Partner in DLA Piper’s Employment Law group and serves as the India Regional Lead for Scandinavia. Fluent in Norwegian, English, Hindi, and Punjabi, he advises Norwegian and international clients on a broad range of employment matters, including reorganizations, business transfers, downsizing, terminations, collective agreements, pension schemes, incentive programs, and data protection.

Raj holds a Master of Law from the University of Oslo and has extensive dispute resolution experience from his tenure as a deputy judge at Fredrikstad District Court. His litigation background informs his pragmatic, solution-oriented approach. He is also an external examiner in employment law at the University of Oslo and regularly lectures peers.
