Kit Burden is a senior partner in DLA Piper’s Intellectual Property and Technology practice, based in London, and serves on the firm’s International Board. He has extensive expertise in outsourcing and complex technology transactions, advising global clients—including UBS, Ericsson, Rolls-Royce, and HCL Technologies—on high-value IT and sourcing arrangements often worth hundreds of millions.

Previously the International Sector Head for DLA Piper’s Technology Sector for nine years, Kit brings strategic insight into the rapidly evolving global technology landscape. Elected to the International Board in 2023 for a four-year term, he helps shape the firm’s long-term sustainability, innovation, and global strategy.

Kit is also a prolific author and speaker, chairs the Society for Computers and Law’s Outsourcing Group, and is a trusted advisor to both technology suppliers and buyers across multiple sectors.
