Rahul Patel is a Partner specialising in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic corporate transactions. He co-chairs the firm’s Global Private Equity/M&A practice and has served two terms on the firm’s Policy Committee, contributing significantly to its governance and management. With over 25 years of experience, Rahul is widely recognised as a leading M&A lawyer by Chambers Global, Chambers USA, and other directories. He is one of only two Chambers Band 1 rated corporate lawyers in Georgia, praised for his deep understanding of complex transactions and practical business insight.
Rahul advises clients across sectors including financial services, life sciences, healthcare, automotive, digital health, aviation, and SPACs. Notable transactions include advising Roper Technologies on its acquisition of digital health company SpectrumAi; Cox Automotive on its acquisitions of Bel Air Auto Auction and Tallahassee Auto Auction; and H.I.G. Capital on the acquisition of Principle Environmental as an add-on to United Flow Technologies.
Known for providing prompt, practical, and commercially focused advice, Rahul holds a J.D. and B.A. with honors from the University of Florida. His extensive expertise and client-focused approach make him a trusted adviser in high-value, cross-border corporate deals.
