Rosa Nduati-Mutero is the Managing Partner of ALN Kenya | Anjarwalla & Khanna, widely recognised as the leading corporate law firm in Kenya and the largest full-service corporate practice in East Africa. She advises on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and employment law, with extensive experience handling complex, cross-border matters. Rosa has led on many of the region’s landmark transactions, including Equity Group’s acquisition of a majority stake in Banque Commercial Du Congo, AfricInvest’s acquisition of a stake in I&M Group, the proposed partial privatisation of Ethio-telecom by Ethiopia’s Ministry of Finance, and Access Bank’s expansion through acquisitions in Angola and Togo.
Rosa is passionate about ESG and sustainability. She champions the eradication of single-use plastics and has supported Kenya’s delegation in negotiations on the UN Plastics Draft Treaty.
An Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Rosa is also a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Public Secretary, and accredited governance auditor. She holds an LL.B from the University of Nairobi, an MBA from the University of London, and completed Columbia University’s executive program on Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness – Africa. With nearly two decades of experience, Rosa combines legal expertise with business acumen and visionary leadership.
