Robin Hickman is the Head of Region for the Middle East at Addleshaw Goddard and a Partner in the firm’s multi award-winning Finance Practice, based in Dubai. With over 17 years of experience in the Middle East, Robin specialises in conventional and Sharia-compliant finance, project finance, and debt restructuring. He regularly advises leading local and international banks, government and semi-government entities, and blue-chip corporates across a wide range of industries and jurisdictions.

Robin’s extensive experience includes advising arrangers and lenders on multi-billion-dollar financings and restructurings across the GCC. His notable mandates include advising on Dubai Group’s US$7 billion corporate debt restructuring, the US$2.3 billion restructuring of Drydocks World, and the US$1.6 billion restructuring of KBBO Group. He has also advised on landmark transactions such as the US$1.1 billion Dubai Parks and Resorts financing, the US$5.5 billion Ras Azzour IWPP in Saudi Arabia, and major solar and infrastructure projects across the UAE, Oman, and Qatar.
