Eyad Latif is the Deputy Office Managing Partner for the Dubai office and advises private and public companies, venture capital firms, and private equity investors across the technology, life sciences, and other growth sectors. He has extensive experience guiding clients through mergers and acquisitions, venture financings, and strategic investments across the Middle East and beyond.

Eyad regularly advises emerging and high-growth companies on formation, corporate governance, and transactional matters, as well as institutional investors on cross-border investments and exits. His clients include leading regional and international investors such as Sequoia Capital, Sanabil Investments, STV, and IFC.

Notable transactions include advising on Careem’s US$3.1 billion sale to Uber, the creation of the Noon.com e-commerce platform, and Sary’s merger with Bangladesh-based ShopUp to form SILQ Group.

Previously based in the firm’s San Francisco and New York offices, Eyad brings a global perspective and pragmatic, business-oriented advice to each engagement.

He holds a JD from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he co-founded the Berkeley Journal of Middle Eastern & Islamic Law, and a BA in Political Science from UC Berkeley. Eyad is admitted to practice in California and is fluent in Arabic and English.
