Nasreen Alissa is a Partner at Trowers & Hamlins and Co-Head of the firm’s Riyadh office. With over 15 years of legal experience, she is a prominent Saudi lawyer specialising in corporate and M&A law, advising both domestic and international clients on complex cross-border transactions and strategic investments.
Her practice covers the full spectrum of corporate work, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, private equity transactions, shareholder arrangements, and regulatory compliance across diverse sectors. Nasreen has acted for leading corporations, investment funds, and government entities on structuring and executing high-value transactions, providing clients with practical, commercially attuned advice on navigating the Saudi regulatory landscape.
She has a strong focus on technology law and digital transformation, advising clients in the technology, fintech, and startup sectors on corporate structuring, venture capital, IP, data protection, e-commerce, and Saudi Arabia’s evolving tech regulations.
In addition to her transactional practice, Nasreen regularly advises on foreign direct investment, company formations, and market entry strategies aligned with Vision 2030.
A recognized innovator in legal technology and women’s empowerment, Nasreen founded Know Your Rights — Saudi Arabia’s first legal app dedicated to women’s legal awareness — which has been featured by CNN and Forbes.
Her achievements have earned her several accolades, including Saudi Female Lawyer of the Year (2022) at the Arabian Business KSA Women’s Excellence Awards and recognition on Manhom’s 2025 “Who They Are” list of 100 pioneering Saudi women driving national transformation.
