Adedapo (Dapo) Tunde-Olowu is the Managing Partner and Head of the Dispute Resolution Practice. With over 36 years of experience, he is a leading commercial litigator and arbitrator admitted to practice in Nigeria (1988) and in England and Wales (2009). Dapo has represented clients in high-value domestic and international arbitration proceedings and has appeared before all superior courts of record in Nigeria.
His practice focuses on resolving complex commercial disputes across sectors including oil and gas, maritime, tax, construction, transportation, banking, FMCG, mining, and finance. He advises multinational corporations, financial institutions, investment firms, insurance companies, and lending institutions on litigation strategy, arbitration, and regulatory compliance.
A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) since 2020 and Notary Public since 2006, Dapo is a Delegate to the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR. He is ranked as a Global and Africa Thought Leader in Commercial Litigation and a Global and National Leader in Arbitration by Who’s Who Legal, and is highly regarded in Tax Controversy by IFLR1000. Chambers Global also recognizes him as a top commercial litigator.
Dapo leads the editorial team of the Aviation Law Reports of Nigeria (AVLRN), a key legal resource for aviation-related jurisprudence.
