Ahmed Ibrahim, Managing Partner, is widely recognized as the UAE’s foremost authority in Equity Capital Markets, earning the industry title of the ""UAE ECM Guru."" With a legal career spanning over two decades, Ahmed has played a pivotal role in nearly every major IPO and rights issue in the UAE since the global financial crisis.
Chambers & Partners describes him as a ""go-to figure for domestic equity capital markets matters,"" especially known for navigating innovative and complex capital markets structures. Prior to founding his current firm, Ahmed was the firm-wide Head of Equity Capital Markets at Al Tamimi & Company, Dubai, until 2018. He also served as a leading partner at Trowers & Hamlins in Cairo and as Group General Counsel at ASEC Group, the industrial arm of Citadel Capital Private Equity.
His practice covers a broad range of legal areas, including project finance, IPOs, corporate structuring, M&A, joint ventures, and commercial agreements. Ahmed is deeply experienced in drafting and negotiating key legal instruments such as shareholder agreements, loan documents, and corporate governance frameworks.
Ahmed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Cairo University (English Section, 1999) and an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law from Queen Mary/UCL, University of London (2004). He is a registered legal consultant with the Dubai Legal Affairs Department and a member of the Egyptian Bar Association.
