Bushra Ahmed is an award-winning litigation and arbitration specialist with over 20 years of experience, serving as Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution at KBH (DIFC), Dubai. A barrister called to the Bar of England & Wales (Middle Temple, 2001), Bushra has built a formidable reputation for her advocacy in high-value, cross-border commercial and regulatory disputes, with a strong focus on international arbitration, asset recovery, financial services, construction, and digital asset regulation.
An accredited CEDR mediator, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators member, and registered practitioner with DIFC Courts and Dubai Legal Affairs Department, Bushra has presided over or co-arbitrated under ICC, LCIA, DIFC-LCIA, and DIAC rules. She also maintains practice rights as a door tenant at Hatton Chambers, London.
Bushra is the recipient of several accolades, including Litigator of the Year (2023) at the Lexis Nexis Women in Law Awards and DIFC Lawyers’ Lawyer of the Year (2015). She contributes regularly to legal thought leadership, serves on the Board of the Juris Centre of Excellence for Legal Education, and is an incoming founding member of the International Law Association (UAE).
