Ziad Galadari is a distinguished legal and business leader in the United Arab Emirates, best known as the Founder and Chairman of the Ziad Galadari Group, which he established in the 1980s. From this foundation, he launched Galadari Advocates and Legal Consultants, which has grown to become one of the most respected law firms in the region. Over the course of more than three decades, Ziad has played a vital role in shaping the UAE's legal landscape, helping to develop the broader legal framework while driving the evolution of the legal industry and enhancing commercial growth across the Middle East.
As a senior figure within the UAE's legal and business communities, Ziad holds several prominent board positions, including at Dana Gas, Du Telecommunications, and the Dubai World Trade Centre. In these roles, he has actively contributed to the strategic direction of key sectors, promoted international trade, and supported foreign investment into Dubai. Ziad also advises government entities and senior dignitaries on complex legal and commercial matters, including large-scale development contracts throughout the region.
Ziad’s legal expertise is internationally recognised, particularly in complex, high-value disputes involving infrastructure construction projects, banking and finance, debt recovery, fraud, mergers and acquisitions, and both litigation and arbitration. He brings a strategic, results-driven approach to every matter, combining technical proficiency with a deep understanding of regional legal systems.
Beyond his legal and commercial work, Ziad is a committed philanthropist who supports a variety of community-driven initiatives aimed at empowering youth, enhancing judicial innovation, and promoting social equity. He has authored several thought pieces on timely topics such as the implications of digital currencies, the ethical use of AI in the judicial system, and equitable approaches to law enforcement.
Ziad earned his law degree from Al Ain University in the UAE and is a member of the International Bar Association. He is fluent in both Arabic and English, enabling him to bridge diverse legal and cultural contexts with ease.
