Jimmy is the Managing Partner of BSA and is based in the firm’s DIFC office in Dubai. With nearly two decades of experience in the Middle East, he specialises in corporate, commercial, and real estate transactions, advising a diverse range of clients on complex, high-value deals across the region.

Jimmy’s practice focuses on local, regional, and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, and large-scale real estate projects and developments. He has played a pivotal role in shaping Dubai’s real estate regulatory landscape and was among the legal pioneers involved in establishing the framework that governs the sector today. His experience includes advising on the first long-term lease real estate project in Dubai and multiple landmark developments with Emaar Real Estate, among others.

In addition to his transactional work, Jimmy has contributed to the development and refinement of the Strata regulations in Dubai and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), helping modernize and strengthen the city’s property laws. Prior to joining BSA, Jimmy spent five years at Clifford Chance in Dubai, where he gained extensive experience advising international clients on corporate and real estate matters.

Jimmy regularly advises on the structuring of both Islamic and conventional investment funds, as well as corporate reorganizations and private equity transactions. His work has included advising on cross-border investments, joint ventures, and regulatory matters spanning the GCC, Europe, and beyond.
