Osman Mowafy is a Co-Founding Partner at ADSERO – Ragy Soliman & Partners, where he leads the firm’s Dispute Resolution Practice. With over 30 years of experience, Osman is a distinguished litigator and arbitrator specializing in high-profile commercial disputes, white-collar crimes, investment disputes, and corporate conflicts. He is widely recognized for representing major multinational corporations, investors, and commercial agents in complex disputes before Egyptian courts, arbitration forums, regulatory authorities, and administrative bodies.

His practice encompasses commercial litigation, investment and capital markets disputes, joint stock and limited liability company disputes, civil and state council matters, and criminal cases, including money laundering and embezzlement. Osman has extensive experience with arbitration under the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) rules, particularly in sectors such as telecommunications, real estate, hospitality, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and construction.

Throughout his career, Osman has represented leading multinational companies such as Mitsubishi Motors, ŠKODA AUTO, and Nissan Motor in commercial agent disputes, and Orascom Construction Industries in defending a USD 445.6 million tax claim. He has also represented Siemens in a subcontractor-related dispute valued at USD 1.2 million, and the Egyptian Resorts Company in multiple disputes related to Sahl Hasheesh Resort, including nullification claims and regulatory conflicts. Additionally, he acted for Sun City Mall in CRCICA arbitration against a major cinema operator and advised both German and Egyptian real estate and construction companies in complex arbitration and litigation matters. He represented Amoun Pharmaceutical Co. in interconnected criminal and civil compensation claims and provided legal counsel to the Ministry of Finance on Egypt’s First Sovereign Sukuk Program.

Osman is known for his hands-on approach, managing cases from internal investigations and public prosecution procedures to court hearings, ensuring strategic and thorough representation. He holds an LL.B. from Ain Shams University (1991) and is regarded as one of Egypt’s leading dispute resolution specialists.
