Ragy Soliman is the Founder and Managing Partner of ADSERO – Ragy Soliman & Partners, where he also co-heads the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Capital Markets practice. With over 25 years of experience, Ragy combines exceptional transactional expertise with executive-level strategic, operational, and financial management, having held roles at multiple holding and operating companies. He is highly experienced in managing multinational firms in the TMT and financial sectors, and in structuring and executing complex cross-border M&A transactions.
Prior to establishing ADSERO, Ragy played a key role in major transactions, including a USD 25.7 billion telecommunications merger, and has executed over 100 M&A deals and 60 debt and equity transactions across jurisdictions including Egypt, UK, US, Italy, UAE, France, Tunisia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Algeria, Delaware, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Jersey, Malta, BVI, Cayman Islands, and Mauritius. He has served on boards of listed and private companies, undertaking roles such as board secretary, audit, remuneration, investment, and executive committee member, as well as money laundering monitoring officer, disclosure officer, and data protection officer.
Ragy’s practice also covers litigation and arbitration, including civil and criminal matters before Egyptian and English courts and proceedings at LCIA, ICC, and ICSID. He has advised sovereign and institutional clients, including the Sovereign Fund of Egypt, CIRA, and EFG Hermes, on strategic projects in education, infrastructure, and investment. His advisory work also spans high-profile corporate transactions, including acquisitions, divestments, and financing for clients such as Siemens Mobility, Rich Food, Americana Group, Elmenus, WaffarX, and Hutchinson Telecom International.
Ragy holds an LL.B. from Cairo University (1993–1997) and an LL.M. in International Business Law from London Metropolitan University (1999–2000). His expertise spans M&A, capital markets, corporate governance, cross-border transactions, litigation, arbitration, and strategic advisory for government and private sector clients.
