Anas El-Jisr is a partner at JP Legal’s Riyadh office, bringing two decades of experience in corporate and commercial law, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, takeovers, and equity investments in the Saudi Arabian market. He has built a strong reputation for managing complex cross-border M&A transactions, corporate restructuring projects, and joint ventures, leveraging his deep understanding of Saudi local regulations while working closely with major Saudi family businesses and multinational corporations.
Throughout his career, Anas has advised and represented prominent multinational and regional clients, including Siemens GmbH, Anghami, Mercedes-Benz, ENBD Bank, Al Othaim Group, Al Rajhi Investment, Blom Invest Fund, Elie Saab, Apotex, Facebook, and L’Oréal. He currently leads a team of skilled attorneys specializing in M&A transactions across healthcare, finance, technology, and contracting/industrial sectors, providing guidance to major Saudi groups and multinational clients on a wide range of corporate and M&A matters across Saudi Arabia and the MENA region, particularly in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Anas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB), a Postgraduate Diploma in Laws, and an LL.M. in Commercial and Corporate Law, all from University College London (UCL). Before joining JP Legal as a partner, he held positions at regional and international law firms in Saudi Arabia, advising multinational corporations, financial institutions, and private equity firms on various cross-border transactions.
He serves as an advisory board member for several Saudi and GCC-based holding groups, is a member of the Lawyer Bar Association, and is fully admitted to practice law in Saudi Arabia. Committed to giving back to the community, Anas actively supports pro bono initiatives and frequently speaks at industry conferences and events, sharing his insights on M&A trends and developments in the Saudi and regional markets.
