Malik Al Kammaz is a Shareholder and the Country Manager of Saba IP’s Saudi Arabia office. He joined the firm in 2000 and previously managed the Qatar office before assuming his current role.

Malik focuses on trademark counseling, prosecution, due diligence, licensing, assignments, and litigation, both domestically and internationally. He advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, coordinating legal and administrative actions, and offering strategic guidance on managing IP portfolios and monitoring potential infringements.

Over the course of his career, Malik has built strong relationships with semi-governmental and private sector clients across a range of industries, including tourism, banking, research and development, satellite broadcasting, medical research, petrochemicals, sports, and education. He also served as IP consultant for a major pan-Arab television contest for seven consecutive years.

In addition to his advisory work, Malik has contributed to numerous regional and international publications on IP in the Middle East and delivered training on IP matters to SMEs and during government and WIPO-sponsored workshops. He has also been invited by organizations in several European countries to speak about the IP environment in the region.

Malik holds an LLM from the University of Turin and is a member of FICPI, APPIMAF, and INTA.
