Ramzi Tarazi is the Shareholder and General Manager of Saba IP’s Head Office in Beirut, Lebanon, and is responsible for overseeing the firm’s branch and representative offices across the Middle East and Africa. He joined Saba IP in 1998 and plays a central role in managing the firm’s overall operations and strategic direction.

Before entering the intellectual property field, Ramzi began his career as a Design Engineer in Communications with Ericsson Communications in Montreal, Canada, where he advanced to lead a design team focused on restructuring mobile telephone systems. After earning his MBA, he transitioned into management consulting, joining Ernst & Young in London as a Senior Consultant. There, he led a team of consultants and client staff from a major U.S. multinational in standardizing key financial processes across Europe in preparation for a large-scale systems implementation.

Ramzi holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is an active member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and has been invited to speak at numerous conferences and seminars organized by leading intellectual property associations.
