Lookman Durosinmi-Etti is the visionary Founder and Senior Partner of Jackson, Etti & Edu, a leading multidisciplinary law firm redefining the intersection of law and business in Africa. With nearly four decades of experience, Lookman is a globally recognized expert in Intellectual Property (IP), Real Estate, and Commercial Law, renowned for providing strategic, business-driven legal solutions to Fortune 500 companies and multinational brands.
His distinguished career began at Bentley, Edu & Co. in 1984, where he became Partner in 1988, and later Managing Partner following its integration with Irving & Bonnar, Nigeria’s oldest law firm. In 1996, he co-founded Etti, Edu & Co., which evolved into Jackson, Etti & Edu after merging with Norman, Jackson Steele & Co.
A “Doyen” of Intellectual Property Law, Lookman has been instrumental in maintaining the firm’s Tier 1 IP ranking for nearly two decades. He has served as a WIPO Arbitrator, UNDP Consultant, and active member of INTA, ITMA, FICPI, and AIPPI.
Beyond IP, Lookman advises on high-value real estate and commercial transactions, including projects exceeding $70 million. As Director of Orange Island Development Company and Fairways & Greens Limited, he continues to shape Nigeria’s real estate and infrastructure landscape.
