Joanne is a Partner at Quinn Emanuel’s Abu Dhabi office, specializing in complex commercial litigation and international arbitration. With over a decade of experience in the Middle East, she provides strategic guidance to clients navigating complex disputes across the GCC. An expert in common law litigation, Joanne represents clients before the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts, the Abu Dhabi Global Market Courts, and the Courts of England and Wales. She also has extensive experience in international arbitration, acting in disputes under all major institutional rules both in the UAE and internationally, and frequently serves as an arbitrator.

Joanne is recognized for her depth of knowledge and practical judgment in high-stakes disputes. She is known for her clear, incisive, and thoughtful approach, providing clients with strategic advice in matters including insolvency, debt recovery, commercial fraud, and complex cross-border disputes.

She holds a B.A. (Honors) from the University of Leeds, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law, Birmingham, and completed the Legal Practice Course at the Oxford Institute of Law. Joanne combines international litigation and arbitration expertise with deep regional insight, advising clients across the Middle East and North Africa.
