Dawit Kidane is the Co-founder and Principal Managing Partner of DABLO Law Firm LLP, bringing over 15 years of distinguished legal experience in Ethiopia’s judicial and private practice sectors. He holds an LL.B. from the University of Gondar and began his career as an Assistant Judge at the Federal First Instance Court of Ethiopia, where he developed a strong foundation in judicial processes and dispute resolution.

In 2013, Dawit transitioned to private practice, representing clients in complex commercial and civil litigation, corporate law, and regulatory matters. His deep understanding of Ethiopia’s legal landscape enables him to deliver strategic and results-driven legal solutions to both local and international clients.

Since 2023, Dawit has spearheaded DABLO Law Firm LLP’s growth and strategic vision, guiding its expansion into a leading full-service law firm in Ethiopia. Beyond his firm leadership, Dawit is an active contributor to the legal community, serving as a member of the Bar Exam Committee of the Ethiopian Federal Bar Association.
