Carole Ayugi is a Partner at MMAN Advocates and Head of the Employment and Pensions Practice Group. With over 23 years of experience in commercial, corporate, and employment law, she is a leading employment and pensions lawyer in Kenya, advising both local and international clients on complex legal and regulatory matters.

Carole’s practice covers employment law, pensions, corporate governance, and commercial transactions, where she provides strategic and practical solutions to employers, boards, and organisations across various sectors. She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Certified Public Secretary, and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Kenya Branch). In addition, she is an accredited mediator and a Court Annexed Mediator, recognised for her skill in dispute resolution.

Beyond her legal work, Carole holds several leadership roles, including Director of TerraLex, Member of the TerraLex Women’s Global Connections Committee, Independent Director of the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, and Chair of the East African School of Aviation Committee. She also serves as Deputy Chair of the BCCK ESG Working Group and is a Member of the Institute of Directors (Kenya).
