Waringa Njonjo is the Managing Partner at MMAN Advocates and heads the firm’s Commercial and Projects Practice Groups. A founding partner with over 20 years of experience, she is a leading corporate and infrastructure lawyer in Kenya, specialising in banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate advisory, and project finance.

Waringa advises both international and local clients on complex corporate and project transactions, including energy and infrastructure development, regulatory compliance, land rights acquisition, and negotiation of project and finance documentation.

Dual-qualified as a Barrister-at-Law (England and Wales) and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, she is also a Commissioner for Oaths, Notary Public, and a member of the Law Society of Kenya and the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.

Waringa has been consistently recognised by Chambers Global, Legal 500, and IFLR1000 as one of Kenya’s top commercial and corporate lawyers. She also contributes to international publications such as Getting the Deal Through – Merger Control and Kenya Country Focus: The Legal Landscape.
