Oussama El-Aref is the Lead and Head of El-Aref International Law Office, where he oversees the firm’s strategic direction and leads a distinguished team of attorneys who have contributed to making the firm one of the leading law practices in the region.
As a descendant of the firm’s founder, Oussama has strengthened the firm’s management through his deep expertise in corporate law, transactional matters, and his exceptional proficiency in dispute resolution. His leadership has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s client base and reputation, particularly among prominent Middle Eastern investors and corporations.
Oussama has advised major multinational clients and Kuwaiti investors on high-value acquisitions worth millions of dollars across the region. He has an impressive record of courtroom success, handling complex and challenging cases with notable victories. His extensive experience in providing legal services to leading Kuwaiti investors has earned him their trust and long-term confidence.
In addition to his corporate and transactional practice, Oussama represents major entertainment and media companies in Lebanon, advising them on a range of legal, regulatory, and commercial matters. He has extensive experience in structuring and negotiating investment and financing deals, including highly leveraged transactions in the MENA region. His recent work includes advising on the financing of facilities in Kuwait and guiding Kuwaiti clients through the acquisition of shares and interests in Lebanese companies.
Oussama El-Aref also serves as the Head of the Litigation Department at El-Aref International Law Office, where he leads a team of seasoned litigators in managing complex disputes and achieving successful outcomes for both local and international clients.
