Ali El Maoula is one of the founding partners of HNS Legal, where he oversees the firm’s full-service legal practice. With a specialization in Contract and Corporate Law, he brings extensive experience in managing complex cross-border transactions and providing comprehensive legal and strategic advice to both public and private sector clients across Lebanon and the Arab region.
Ali has a proven track record of success in representing clients in multi-million-dollar transactions and in resolving complex legal matters that require nuanced understanding of regional legal frameworks. His expertise spans a wide range of industries and includes advising on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, and international commercial agreements.
With a deep understanding of the Middle Eastern legal and business landscape, Ali has been instrumental in assisting clients with market entry strategies and foreign direct investment initiatives. His strategic counsel has helped businesses navigate legal complexities, mitigate risks, and capitalize on opportunities in emerging markets throughout the region.
Known for his analytical precision and practical approach, Ali is recognized as a trusted advisor for clients seeking clear, business-oriented legal solutions. His dedication to delivering exceptional results and his ability to anticipate and address legal challenges have earned him a strong reputation in both local and regional markets.
Ali holds an LL.M. from University College London (Chevening Scholar), a Master’s Degree in International Business and European Law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a Bachelor of Laws from Université Saint-Joseph in Lebanon.
He is a member of the Beirut Bar Association and the International Bar Association, and is also a Qualified Legal Consultant in the UAE.
Ali is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
