Joseph Nasrallah brings extensive experience in domestic and cross-border transactions and is known for his strategic and business-oriented approach to complex legal and financial matters across the Middle East and Africa. Recognized for his innovative thinking, Joseph provides clients with practical solutions that align legal strategy with commercial objectives.
His practice focuses on corporate, financial, and trade activities, advising clients on both day-to-day operations and complex transactional structures. Joseph has developed particular expertise in private equity and foreign investment frameworks, managing transactions across a wide range of jurisdictions including Lebanon, Iraq, Kuwait, the UAE, Egypt, Kenya, Malawi, Ghana, Rwanda, India, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mozambique, and Uganda.
Before founding his independent practice, Joseph worked with leading Lebanese law firms, where he specialized in corporate, commercial, mergers and acquisitions, and banking and finance law. He also served as head of the legal department for two major multinational companies operating across the Middle East and Africa, where he gained a deep understanding of the region’s regulatory and commercial environments.
Joseph holds an LL.M. in International Business Law from the University of Montreal, and Bachelor’s Degrees in Private and Public Law from Université Saint-Joseph in Lebanon.
He is a member of the Beirut Bar Association and the International Bar Association, and is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
His key areas of expertise include International Transactions and Cross-Border Investments, Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity, Corporate Structures, Compliance and Regulatory Law, Aviation and Airport Services, Distribution and Franchise Law, Entertainment and Media, Family Corporate Governance, Construction and Real Estate Investments, and Litigation and Arbitration.
