Charles Wambugu Wamae is the Managing Partner of Wamae & Allen LLP, a premier full-service law firm based in Nairobi, Kenya. With over 17 years of experience in the legal industry, Charles has built a distinguished career as a transactional advocate. He began his professional journey as a litigator before transitioning to transactional law, where he has advised on complex transactions, commercial and intellectual property matters, conveyancing, real estate, securitization, and immigration law.
Charles played a pivotal role in the Taskforce on Electronic Land Transactions and Registration, contributing to the modernization of land transaction processes in Kenya. He is also an active member of the Law Society of Kenya's Conveyancing Committee, where he collaborates with peers to enhance legal practices in property law.
He holds an Executive Program in Oil & Gas and an Owner Managers Program from Strathmore University, an ATP from the Kenya School of Law, and both an LLB and BSL from Symbiosis Law School, University of Pune. Charles is a member of the Law Society of Kenya, East Africa Law Society, and the International Commission of Jurists.
Under his leadership, Wamae & Allen LLP has grown into a leading law firm in Kenya, known for its client-first approach and expertise across various legal disciplines.
