Mohammed Al Marri is a Partner in Qatar’s Litigation practice and is one of the few Qatar-based litigation lawyers with full rights of audience before the courts of Qatar. He is a highly experienced Qatari litigator who advises both private and corporate clients. Mohammed established his own practice in 2001 after working for the Ministry of the Interior and the Police Academy in Egypt. He has handled high-profile litigation in banking, commercial agencies, trademarks, construction, debt recovery, employment, and property matters.
Mohammed regularly conducts litigation and arbitration in Qatar, including commercial, employment, and banking disputes. He is frequently involved in negotiations with Qatar’s regulatory authorities, including the Qatar Central Bank, Qatar Exchange, and various ministries. He also assists clients with obtaining regulatory approvals for transactions and launching new products. Mohammed has advised and represented major clients such as Al Qamra Holding Group in a software development litigation dispute, Ahli United Bank B.S.C in an administrative dispute with the Ministry of Business and Trade, Fino International in a QICCA arbitration over company liquidation and shareholder disputes, Honeywell Technology Solutions in a QAR 2 million+ dispute with the Qatar Customs Authority, and The First Travel Company in disputes with local and international partners including Sepam.
Mohammed speaks both Arabic and English and holds a Law Degree Diploma in Law and Police Science from Egypt, obtained in 1995. He also provides legal support for banks and insurance companies in Qatar, including facilitating the registration of complex security structures with relevant authorities.
