Philippe Reich is a partner at Baker McKenzie in Zurich and serves as Co-Head of the Firm’s International Trade Practice in Switzerland. He is a leading advisor in international trade, regulatory compliance, foreign investment, and antitrust law. Philippe is also a key member of the Firm's Global India Practice, serving as its European representative on the steering committee, and chairs the Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce.

Recognized among the top 100 foreign lawyers for India-related matters, Philippe advises multinational clients across sectors on Swiss, European, and international trade laws—particularly trade sanctions, export controls, and customs matters. He has successfully represented clients in complex proceedings before Swiss authorities, including voluntary disclosures involving sanctions regimes and merger control filings.

Philippe regularly advises on ESG-related compliance and cross-border investments, especially between Switzerland and India. His extensive work includes setting up corporate compliance programs, guiding MNCs through Russian sanctions issues, and advising global financial institutions and industrial firms on regulatory matters.

Fluent in five languages and admitted to the Swiss Bar, Philippe holds degrees from the University of Zurich and the College of Europe in Bruges. He is a regular speaker at Swiss trade compliance events and a published authority on antitrust and trade law.
