SILF celebrates 20 years
Legal Era congratulates the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) – the Apex body of Law Firms of India on celebrating 20 years. SILF which is a collective of India's top corporate law firms and the only representative body for law firms of India is dedicated to protect, pursue and promote best interests of law firms and legal community in India.
On the occasion of completion of two decades, SILF would be launching a series of interviews with eminent jurists, the first being that of Soli Sorabjee – Indian jurist and the former Attorney General of India. Soli Sorabjee was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in 2002 for his defense of the freedom of expression and the protection of human rights.
Mr. Sorabjee holds several offices in organizations of national and international repute. He has served as member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration at The Hague from 2000 to 2006.
