Argus Partners Announces Promotion of Pooja Chakrabarti and Murtaza Kachwalla to the Firm's Equity Partnership
Pooja Chakrabarti and Murtaza Kachwalla of Argus Partners have been promoted to the firm's equity partnership.
Pooja Chakrabarti is a 2008 alumna from Symbiosis International University and also holds Bachelor of Company Law (BCL) from University of Oxford in 2014.
Having 16 years of experience, Chakrabarti has wide range of experience in areas such as commercial litigation, public interest litigation, arbitration, banking constitutional law real estate and Intellectual Property matters.
She started her career at Paras Kuhad & Associates, where she stayed for more than three years and thereafter, she joined Amarchand Mangaldas. Before being promoted to equity partnership, she had been a part of the company for almost 11 years as a member of the former Udwadia Uddeshi & Argus Partners.
Murtaza Kachwalla is a graduate from Government Law College in Mumbai in 2009 and has earned a degree in business law from NLSIU in Bengaluru.
With more than 14 years of experience, he holds experience sepcialises in commercial litigation and real estate matters with a focus on matters pertaining transfer of property and conveyancing. He has been with the firm for the past 4 years before being elevated to the firm's equity partnership.
He has formerly held positions at Mulla & Mulla, ALMT Legal, and HSA Advocates.
