The First Copy of the Compendium 'The Constitution of India Celebrating and Calibrating 70 Years Compendium of Articles' was presented to His Excellency, the President of India, Mr. Ram Nath Kovind on August 31, 2020, at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, by Dr. Lalit Bhasin, President, Bar Association of India and Mr. Prashant Kumar, President-Elect of the Bar Association of India.
Published by the Bar Association of India and edited by its President,Dr. Bhasin, the book celebrates 60 years of the Bar Association of India.
Mr. Kovind said that the compendium is an excellent publication to mark 70 years of the Constitution of India, and appreciated the association's efforts in compiling and creating the book.
The compendium features articles contributed by top leaders across various segments of society, including most distinguished lawyers, eminent judges, scholars and academicians, distinguished bureaucrats, outstanding politicians, stalwarts from other professions, well-known media personalities and journalists, political thinkers and illustrious Indian citizens. The compendium will be useful not only to lawyers but also judges, legislators, bureaucrats, media persons and citizens.
Mr. K. K. Venugopal, Attorney General of India, who had released the compendium last Saturday said, "The Compendium is a first-of-its-kind endeavour which puts together profound, thought-provoking, and critical analysis of the provisions, workings, and implementation of India's Constitution and is a celebratory gift to India's intellectuals by the Bar Association of India."

Khambata; Mr. Amitabh Kant; Dr. Naresh Trehan; Mr. Rajmohan Gandhi; Prof. (Dr.) Upendra Baxi; Prof. (Dr.) Mool Chand Sharma; Mr. Shyam Divan; Ms. Priya Hingorani; Ms. Indira Jaising; Ms. Madhavi Goradia Divan; Mr. Tushar Mehta; Mr. Mukul Rohatgi; Mr. Arvind P. Datar; Hon'ble Mr. Justice AK Sikri; Dr. Subramanian Swamy; Mr. Kapil Sibal; Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi; Mr. Dushyant Dave; Mr. Shardul Shroff; Mr. Cyril Shroff; and Mr. Prashant Kumar.
The compendium is dedicated to Mr. Fali S Nariman, President Emeritus of the Bar Association of India, for completing seventy years of his law practice.
