VERTICES PARTNERS, a leading first-generation boutique law firm, has expanded its presence in the National Capital Region and has opened its offices in Gurugram in Two Horizon Centre. Ms. Shraddha Ray Menon has merged her practice at Ray Menon & Associates with the firm. Shraddha will be leading the Gurugram office of VERTICES PARTNERS.

Shraddha has pursued BA Hons. (Economics) from Bombay University, and is a Gold Medalist in L.L.B. (Symbiosis), Pune University 1996. She is also a British Chevening Scholar. Her area of expertise lies in advising on corporate governance, risk mitigation, compliance alignments and transactions along with data privacy, human resources and employment laws. Shraddha has been actively involved in training senior management personnel on POSH laws and has been appointed as an external member of several POSH Committees. In her earlier stints, before setting up her firm, she had been an in-house counsel for Coca-Cola India and was directly involved in their Pan-India bottling operations and prior to that she had worked with Mumbai-based AZB & Partners and Thakker & Thakker.

Vinayak Burman, Founding & Managing Partner along with Archana Khosla and Amit Vyas, Founding Partners, VERTICES PARTNERS in a joint statement said, “We are extremely pleased to set our footprint in the NCR with our office in Gurugram. While it is a humble beginning, we have always believed in taking steps in a sustainable manner. Entrepreneurship is not an easy journey and neither is it meant for everyone but looking back from when we took the plunge, we are proud to state that as first-generation entrepreneurs in the field of law, we hopefully have built something worthwhile, in the last three years. Our belief has always been that the DNA / fabric of the person matters the most and that is exactly what we found in Shraddha. She comes with a plethora of experience and more importantly is a wonderful human being. Vertices has seen a very interesting growth phase, given that we started in 2016, when it was a supposed down – turn and now we are expanding in 2019, which again is a supposed down-turn and hence it is all the more exciting for us to face this challenge and marshal our cumulative resources to build this further with Shraddha’s help. It makes us even more happy and proud to state that as a Firm we have been strong advocates on gender equality especially at the leadership and with having Shraddha on-board, this is another step towards it.”

Shraddha, added in the release, “As first-generation entrepreneurs in law, VERTICES PARTNERS has excelled on an extremely steep curve. Ambition and talent is abundant in the Firm, which cast the dye for the Gurugram office within 3 quick years. The Firm’s focus on retaining diversity at the helm, testifies the Firm’s thought leadership. It is an extremely exciting and challenging phase to synergise the down-turn energy with the growth story of the Firm. I am delighted to join Vinayak, Archana and Amit in harnessing the spirit and the learning along the journey. I firmly believe, once the vision aligns, the details naturally follow!”
