The erstwhile General Corporate Practice Partner Sourav Kanti De Biswas working with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (Delhi) office has joined hotel chain giant Oyo as Vice President – Legal last month.
He is reporting to the company’s General Counsel (GC) Rakesh Prusti.
Sourav has extensively advised various domestic and international clients on complex legal transactions, including compliance, corporate governance, foreign exchange matters, securities laws, interpretation of contracts etc.
He will be focusing on the in-house legal domestic and international transactions vertical. OYO is a fast-growing unicorn, and has vowed to become the world’s largest hotel chain by 2023.
Biswas is a graduate from NUJS Kolkata. He has previously worked in-house at Reliance Communications and Avaya, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas before joining erstwhile Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in Delhi.
