Cody Carper joins Skadden as Corporate Partner
Cody Carper has joined Skadden in their corporate practice as a partner in the firm's Houston office.
Mr. Carper's practice focuses on complex energy and infrastructure transactions, including representing private equity sponsors and management teams in acquisitions and divestitures of upstream and midstream oil and gas assets, energy financings and equity joint venture transactions. He regularly advises both investors and operators in drilling partnerships and other joint development arrangements.
Prior to joining Skadden, Mr. Carper was a partner in with Willkie Farr & Gallagher, primarily advising on transactions in the energy sector.
According to a Press Release on Skadden's website, "Cody has a stellar reputation in the oil and gas sector, coupled with deep experience and superb transactional skills. Working with Cody on complex transactions, we have seen his ability to develop and execute creative deal strategies firsthand, and have been impressed by his business acumen and collaborative style."
