Post TTA break-up, Platinum picks up Vinod Dhall as senior advisor

Former competition head and executive chairman of Talwar Thakore Associates (TTA), Vinod Dhall, whose collaboration relationship had ended as reported Tuesday, has now joined Platinum Partners as Senior Advisor.

Dhall’s joining the firm was confirmed by Platinum Partner Karam Daulet-Singh although it is unclear whether this will be a full-time role.

An independent competition practitioner, Dhall, quasi-merged his practice with TTA though it was branded as Dhall in collaboration with TTA. However, that relationship ended recently with Dhall’s second-in-command, Ram Kumar, staying back at TTA as Counsel.
