S&R Associates represent Bertelsmann India Investments in their deal with Lendingkart Technologies

S&R Associates represented Bertelsmann India Investments in a follow-on investment in Lendingkart Technologies, as part of a Rs. 2.12 billion (US$30 million) funding round also involving Fullerton Financial Holdings and India Quotient. S&R Associates also represented Bertelsmann India Investments in earlier investments in the company in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Bertelsmann India Investments (BII) is the strategic investment arm of Bertelsmann SE& Co. KGaA in India.

Lendingkart Finance extends business loans to small, medium and micro enterprises aimed at driving easy access to credit for such entities.

Lendingkart Finance (the NBFC arm of Lendingkart Technologies) is a start-up that works towards ensuring availability of credit for small and micro enterprises (SMEs) that either do not have access to credit or are capital deficient currently. Since its inception, Lendingkart Finance has evaluated nearly half a million applications, disbursing more than 60,000 loans to 55,000 MSMEs across 1300 cities of the nation.
