Priyesh Sharma
Priyesh Sharma is the Assistant Vice President (Legal) at Knowledge Realty Trust, with over 15 years of experience advising on complex domestic and cross border mergers & acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, VC fundings, Start up business model advisory, and large-scale real estate transactions. A seasoned corporate lawyer, he is known for combining legal rigour with commercial acumen, particularly in transactions involving multiple stakeholders, regulatory sensitivity, and high-value assets.
Over the course of his career, Priyesh has been associated with some of India’s leading law firms, including JSA, AZB & Partners, and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. He has also previously headed the M&A practice at ARA Law, where he played a key role in building and leading the firm’s transactional capabilities. These experiences have allowed him to work closely with founders, investors, institutional clients, and developers across a wide spectrum of industries.
Priyesh has advised on numerous high-value acquisitions, strategic investments, and platform-level transactions, with a particular focus on the intersection of real estate, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and growth-stage businesses. His work typically spans the entire transaction lifecycle, structuring, legal and commercial due diligence, negotiation, documentation, and closing—making him a trusted advisor on both risk mitigation and value creation. He is especially regarded for his ability to navigate commercially nuanced and regulatory grey areas, offering solutions that are legally sound yet business-oriented.
His work and leadership have been consistently recognised by industry platforms and publications. His accolades include being on the list of 40 under 40 Legal Rising Saters (2026) by Legal Era, named a Rising Star in M&A and Real Estate (Education Leaders 2025), featuring in Enterprise’s Global Leadership List 2025, inclusion in TradeFlock’s Top Real Estate Leadership List 2024, among others.
