Shalini Saxena
Shalini Saxena is currently the General Counsel at Pine Labs. She started her journey around 19 years back as a lawyer with a law firm based in Delhi, working both as a litigating and corporate associate.
It was after a deputation by her law firm with Electrolux India that the role of an inhouse counsel appealed more to her and she went on to join the erstwhile GE Countrywide as a Manager Legal. The role of an inhouse counsel, has thus far taken me across industries Renewables, Credit Cards, Consumer Finance, Power, social media, manufacturing set ups. Shalini has dabbled with commercial transactional work and M&A across multiple jurisdictions. Some of the regions covered by me other than India are Bhutan, Nepal, Georgia, Vietnam, Malaysia, China, South Africa, Dubai.
As a General Counsel, now for Pine Labs, Shalini is responsible for business targets and growth of the organization. She oversees compliance and secretarial support across Asia Pacific. Substantial part of her responsibility is on evaluating digital technology challenges, growth and advocating a business enabling regulatory framework. Investments, acquiring and strategic investments both in and by the Company is the other key deliverable.
