Tarun Warriar is the Legal Counsel – Asia Pacific and is responsible for legal matters related to the firm’s investment activity in the region. Based in Singapore, he joined the firm in 2020.

Prior to joining Värde, Tarun was a Partner in the Restructuring and Special Situations team at Kirkland & Ellis based in Hong Kong, where he advised on complex investments in distressed companies and restructurings across the region, with a focus on transactions in India and relating to Indian companies.

Tarun received an LLB (Honours) from the University of Exeter and an MSc. Law and Accounting from the London School of Economics. Tarun is admitted to practice as a Solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong and the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
