Thamodi advises clients on various facets of corporate and commercial law and regulatory compliance, which includes data protection and privacy, employment law, anti-bribery and corruption, tax and private equity. Since the inception of the Data Protection Bill in Sri Lanka, Thamodi has been involved in advising clients on matters related to data protection and privacy, especially in advising key industry players that have been advocating for practical changes to the emerging legal framework of data protection in Sri Lanka. She formed a part of the data protection and privacy practice group of the Firm for several years and guides numerous local and international clients in achieving regulatory compliance in the data protection and privacy domain.
