A. K. Hirani, Senior Partner at Majmudar & Partners passes away
A. K. Hirani, Senior Partner at Majmudar & Partners passed away on 23 June 2023. Mr. Hirani had been in practice for over 40 years. He had significant experience in banking and finance matters, including commercial loan documentation, letters of credit and guarantees. He had advised on various debt finance, project finance, real property, leasing, and joint venture transactions. He had handled major restructuring and financing transactions, and general banking matters on behalf of the Industrial Development Bank of India, Industrial Finance Corporation of India, State Bank of India and UCO Bank. He was also a renowned real property lawyer.
His practice areas included Banking and Finance, Corporate/M&A, Disputes (Litigation and Arbitration) and Real Property and focussed on Consumer and Retail, Financial Services and Insurance, Manufacturing and Industrial and Technology.
He was a member of Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa; Bombay Incorporated Law Society; Rotary International and Lodge Blackwell.
