Vinod Kumar Bhaskaran
Vinod Kumar Bhaskaran is the Executive Director and Head of Legal in Arco Lab Private Limited, a subsidiary of Strides Pharma Science Limited.
Vinod carries over 15 years of experience in managing complex legal matters. He joined Strides Arcolab Limited in 2008 as Deputy Manager – Legal, where he was responsible for handling compliance matters. Over the years, he diversified his exposure to various fields and gathered experiences on multitude of legal matters and has handled a wide range of legal issues for the group, including mergers, acquisitions, operational contracts, securities market transactions, private equity investments, environmental matters, labour matters, commercial disputes, investigations, harassment complaints, brand protection, insurance claims, and arbitration.
He has been key member in driving over 50+ deals, both domestic and cross-border in various jurisdictions including USA, Canada, UK, Poland, Turkey, Kenya, Australia, Singapore, and South Africa.
Currently, Vinod heads the legal team at Arco Lab Private Limited, a shared business services organization and subsidiary of Strides Pharma. He leads a team of 10 lawyers serving over 65 entities across various business groups delivering a combination of business and legal knowledge in their works.
Vinod is a graduate in Commerce from Madras University and a graduate in Law from Bangalore University.
He was also finalist and awardee of 40 under 40 - Rising Star for the year 2020 by Legal Era.
