Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised SkyPower Group on acquisition by Inox Neo Energies

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as the legal counsel to the SkyPower Group of entities in relation to the acquisition of 100% equity shares and compulsorily convertible debentures of SkyPower Solar India Private Limited (“SkyPower”) by Inox Neo Energies Private Limited (“Inox”).

SkyPower owns and operates a 50 MW solar power plant located in Chirwel, Khandwa, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. The acquisition forms part of Inox’s broader clean energy expansion strategy, strengthening its presence in India’s growing solar power sector.

The Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas transaction was led by Ramanuj Kumar (Partner & Co-Head – Projects: Energy & Energy Transition) and Manasvini Raj (Partner), with support from Sushmitha Ramkumar (Associate). The deal was signed on May 31, 2025 and successfully closed on June 30, 2025.
